Salary: $240,000–$270,000 per year, depending on experience

hirify.global develops quantum error correction technology and partners with quantum hardware providers, government agencies, national laboratories, and research institutions to advance fault-tolerant quantum computing.

What you will do

  • Set the direction for hirify.global’s open-source software strategy and identify components for community use.
  • Lead the teams developing Delta­kit, including analysis tools, simulators, visualizers, and core components.
  • Shape product priorities in collaboration with the product team and align open-source work with the business model.
  • Support internal developers and engage with the global developer community.
  • Identify opportunities to expand access to software across the quantum computing ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading large, high-impact open-source projects with significant technical or scientific complexity.
  • Strong software development skills in Python and C++.
  • Understanding of compilers, simulators, analysis tools, or programming languages.
  • Experience working with developer ecosystems, ideally as an open-source maintainer.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Membership in open-source groups.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of quantum computing.
  • PhD in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Experience organizing open-source groups.
