Salary: $230,000–$250,000 per year

Develops industrial CT scanning hardware and a web-based platform for visualizing, analyzing, and sharing manufacturing data, using computer vision and AI-driven tools.

What you will do

• Own the technical direction and outcomes for the Voyager platform, aligning architecture and roadmap priorities with business objectives.
• Lead software development and platform engineering from architecture through production release.
• Scale the Platform Engineering function across CI/CD, observability, edge computing, and cloud cost management.
• Hire, develop, and lead the engineering leadership layer while establishing an effective operating cadence.
• Own software security and compliance, including SBOMs, vulnerability response, customer security reviews, and compliance controls.

Requirements

• Experience leading multi-level software engineering organizations at a startup, including managing managers through a company or product maturity phase change.
• End-to-end ownership of a production SaaS platform, including uptime, on-call, release engineering, and infrastructure costs.
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, with the ability to evaluate platform designs and explain company-level trade-offs.
• Experience deploying solutions in cloud and on-premises environments, with proactive focus on performance and reliability.
• Ability to define completion criteria, remove blockers, and lead through ambiguity in a startup environment.
• Ability to work in San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with FedRAMP, ITAR/CMMC, or other regulated deployment environments.
• Background in 3D data, imaging, visualization, metrology software, voxels, meshes, large-file pipelines, or GPU rendering in the browser.
