Reliability Test Automation Engineer (Co-op/Intern)

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada — onsite

Pay: CAD 24–35 per hour

What you will do

• Develop test code for reliability test automation suites.
• Update and maintain the reliability laboratory database and software.
• Gather and document requirements by consulting with users and developers.
• Apply design and testing best practices while solving complex technical problems.
• Execute component qualification and verification tests, including HAST.
• Collect and analyze data, compare results with vendor-submitted data, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Be a third- or fourth-year student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Be registered full-time or part-time at a post-secondary institution.
• Have experience with database management and technologies such as Visual Studio 2017 or later, VB.NET, C#, XML, or SQL.
• Have experience with automation and an understanding of optical systems and optical instruments.
• Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a highly technical, multi-project environment.
• Be eligible to complete a background check as part of the hiring process.
