Technical Director, Live Operations - MONOPOLY GO! (Mobile Games/Live Operations): Improving the configuration systems, tooling, and working practices that deliver game updates to players with an accent on reliability, automation, operational safety, and cross-functional leadership. Focus on evolving configuration pipelines, investigating technical failures, driving tooling adoption, and developing teams supporting a continuously operated mobile game.
Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work with three days per week in the Barcelona hub

What you will do
- Improve the configuration pipeline from creation and validation through delivery and use in Live Operations.
- Reduce manual effort, prevent configuration errors, and make operational issues easier to diagnose.
- Shape the tooling roadmap with Engineering, Product, and Live Operations based on operational impact.
- Support adoption of new tools through ownership, training, feedback, and changes to working practices.
- Investigate technical problems, contribute to solution design, and turn recurring issues into lasting fixes.
- Coach technical and operational teams while building a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based improvement.
Requirements
- Strong technical experience with configuration systems, tools, or delivery pipelines and end-to-end systems reasoning.
- Experience leading technical teams and improving systems used in live games or continuously operated software services.
- Hands-on experience spanning roadmap decisions, technical design, and troubleshooting failing workflows.
- Ability to balance immediate delivery needs with improvements that reduce future effort and risk.
- Experience translating user needs into tooling roadmaps and supporting adoption in day-to-day work.
- Clear communication, collaborative leadership, constructive challenge, and a commitment to developing people and sharing knowledge.
Nice to have
- Experience with mobile free-to-play games, Live Operations, or high-volume configuration and content delivery.
- Familiarity with validation, automation, monitoring, and incident investigation.
- Practical experience using AI to improve tooling or operational workflows.
