Business Management – Data Operations & Operational Excellence Specialist– Student Placement 2027 (MedTech)

Location: Office-based in High Wycombe and Maidenhead, United Kingdom; the office is relocating to central Maidenhead from October 2026.

What you will do

• Perform data reconciliation, quality checks, and updates across multiple business systems.
• Support role-based access reviews, access-change requests, onboarding requests, and shared-content governance.
• Prepare recurring operational reports, including vendor, product-volume, out-of-cycle, and referral-timeliness reporting.
• Prepare SUSAR notification reports, consolidate feedback, and coordinate with business stakeholders and vendors.
• Conduct quarterly QLIK data pulls, trend analysis, workflow analysis, and PowerPoint reporting.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams on onboarding, knowledge transfer, and student engagement activities.

Requirements

• Completion of two years of degree-level study and a minimum 2:1 result in the first year.
• Degree studies in Data, Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, STEM, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookups.
• Ability to manage, interpret, and reconcile data from multiple sources with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication, analytical, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with global teams in a recurring office-based placement.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting SharePoint access, libraries, and shared structures.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, dashboard updates, or data modelling.
