CT Technologist III

Location: Tufts Medical Center, Boston, United States; onsite clinical role.

Pay range: $48.60–$61.96 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform CT scans independently according to department policies, radiological standards, and American College of Radiology imaging standards.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination requirements.
• Provide patient instructions, ensure patient and staff safety, establish IV access, and administer IV contrast.
• Complete equipment quality control, maintain supplies, and keep work areas compliant and functional.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and service lines.
• Train and educate students or technologists on CT procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification and ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification.
• Eligibility for a radiologic technologist state license.
• Four years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment, examinations, procedures, and radiation safety protocols, with the ability to work independently.
