Quality Assurance Technician 1 (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California; onsite clean-room manufacturing environment

Salary: $19.30–$25.36 per hour, plus a 15% night-shift differential

What you will do

• Inspect advanced probing technology products using the Olympus MX-50 microscope and precision measurement tools.
• Perform in-process and finished-goods inspections against customer and internal specifications.
• Capture inspection images and document product quality findings.
• Identify nonconforming products and prepare nonconformance reports.
• Support engineering investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Validate product data, complete data entry, and maintain inventory and traceability records.

Requirements

• Less than one year of related experience; no formal occupational training is typically required.
• Skills in clean-room manufacturing, microscopy, computer literacy, data entry, problem solving, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow work instructions, SOPs, documentation standards, safety protocols, PPE, and clean-room gowning procedures.
• Ability to stand frequently, perform repetitive hand motions, handle small components, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Availability for a night shift on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am.
