Sr. IT Quality Engineering Specialist (LIMS)

Salary: $115,260–$149,160 per year, plus potential bonus, stock-based incentives, paid time off, and benefits.

What you will do

• Administer and provide technical support for the Kite Laboratory Information Management System (KLIMS), LabVantage, and related integrations.
• Monitor system health, resolve incidents, perform root cause investigations, and support 24x7 escalation processes.
• Lead technical strategy, impact assessments, system enhancements, upgrades, patching, and sustainment activities across North America.
• Support GxP, CSV, validation, infrastructure qualification, audits, inspections, CAPAs, deviations, and controlled documentation.
• Deliver compliant projects, integrations, site rollouts, releases, and post-deployment hypercare with project and validation teams.
• Support laboratory instrument interfaces, barcode scanners, Zebra printers, SSL certificates, operating systems, networks, and security infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience supporting regulated GxP applications and enterprise production environments.
• Experience administering LIMS; LabVantage experience is mandatory.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documentation, and validation skills.
• Experience with SQL and database querying with Java.
• Knowledge of change management, validation, and compliance processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory instrument integrations, BarTender, Zebra printers, and barcode technologies.
• Experience with cloud-hosted or enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cell therapy operations.
• Experience participating in audits, inspections, and regulated validation activities.
