TL;DR

Location: Danvers, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour

What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated end-to-end tests for medical device software using Pytest and in-house tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA specialists to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of application functionality, performance, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and walkthroughs to support code quality and industry-standard practices.
  • Prepare test reports and contribute to improvements in testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with automated test frameworks, especially Pytest.
  • Knowledge of SQL-based or NoSQL databases and proficiency in at least one of C, Rust, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Git and demonstrated project experience through coursework, personal projects, open source, or internships.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
  • Permanently authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Coursework in electrical engineering, signals and systems, or embedded devices.
  • Experience with software development or testing projects.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with embedded software and low-level languages such as C++, Rust, or Go.
