Writing Specialist (RFP)

What you will do

• Draft, edit, and proofread RFP responses and proposal materials for the Development team.
• Translate technical project details, qualifications, and team bios into clear, persuasive proposal narratives.
• Maintain proposal boilerplate, case studies, and past project narratives for future submissions.
• Track RFP calendars and coordinate contributors, leadership, and Development stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Write and edit sales materials such as sales sheets, brochures, presentations, and other collateral.
• Ensure proposals and marketing materials are accurate, consistent, on-brand, and on-tone.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in proposal or RFP writing, sales and marketing copywriting, or brand storytelling.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and narrative development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with RFP and proposal processes, formatting requirements, and collaboration with technical and creative stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, with a portfolio or writing samples demonstrating proposal and marketing storytelling.

Nice to have

• Experience in out-of-home media, construction, advertising, or real estate.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CMS platforms.
