Corporate Tax Manager

Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester, UK — hybrid

Salary: £70,000–£75,000 per annum

What you will do

• Lead and develop the corporate tax compliance function for the office.
• Oversee the preparation and review of corporation tax computations and tax accounting.
• Act as a key client contact for queries and technical tax matters.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, including supporting performance reviews and study progression.
• Identify advisory opportunities arising from compliance work.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver an integrated client service.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor with ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification.
• Proven experience managing corporation tax compliance within professional practice.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.
• Commercial mindset and commitment to high-quality client service.
