Systems Architect (Marine Robotics)

Location: Horten (Horten Industry Park) or Oslo (Lysaker), Norway. Hybrid working arrangements are possible.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the total system architecture for autonomous maritime solutions.
• Break down systems at a high level and define interactions, interfaces, technologies, and resources.
• Identify stakeholders, analyze requirements, and extract requirements with architectural significance.
• Formulate and model system architectures that balance functional and operational requirements with solution constraints.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate systems and subsystems according to the overarching architecture.
• Implement and oversee systems engineering processes and methodologies across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• Proven experience with model-based systems engineering, preferably involving uncrewed or autonomous systems.
• Strong knowledge of systems architecting and systems engineering principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with relevant technologies or domains, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Clear, precise, and structured communication in English is required.
