Salary: $136,300–$199,900 annually

What you will do

• Develop software features end to end, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, and release.
• Translate complex system and customer requirements into scalable, maintainable designs.
• Contribute to software architecture, design discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Build production-quality software for distributed and multithreaded systems with strong performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Debug complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and interdisciplinary engineering teams on integrated semiconductor equipment.

Requirements

• Industry experience delivering production software systems; a master's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming and software design skills.
• Production development experience with C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, data-driven applications, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems, including distributed or multithreaded environments, and working on medium-to-large-scale software projects.
• Experience developing, deploying, and managing Docker containers and scaling applications with Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with system-level or hardware-integrated environments such as instrument control or machine software.
• Experience owning features or subsystems through production delivery.
• Experience working with software that interacts with physical hardware or large-scale infrastructure.
