Wind Turbine Technician Electrical and M (Wind Energy)

Location: Rural Cypress County, Alberta, Canada; onsite

What you will do

• Plan inspections and prepare the required tools, materials, and precision instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical component faults.
• Inspect lubrication systems, transmission elements, and wind turbine blades using telescopes and wired cameras.
• Track time, tools, parts, daily logs, and company assets.
• Prepare intervention reports in SAP and complete work according to quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Training in electrical, electromechanical, or wind turbine maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, circuit diagrams, lockout procedures, and personal protective equipment.
• Availability for rotating weekend on-call shifts.
