Risk & Finance Internship (Financial Economic Crime)

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands, with work from home and the hirify.global office on Croeselaan

Salary: €600 gross per month based on a 36-hour week

hirify.global is a financial institution focused on risk management, financial decision-making, and the prevention of financial crime.

What you will do

• Conduct research on risk management, reporting, financial, and Financial Economic Crime topics.
• Analyse data and prepare research reports, financial reports, management insights, and risk analyses.
• Perform risk assessments and contribute to decision-making within Risk, Finance, and FEC.
• Support the development and improvement of risk, financial, and FEC-related models, tools, and data-driven approaches.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Financial Economic Crime professionals on strategic analyses, including the detection of unusual patterns.

Requirements

• Completed university degree in a relevant field, or expected graduation by summer 2027.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Availability for 4 to 6 months from 1 March 2027.
• Effective communication in Dutch and English is required.
• Interest in risk management, finance, financial reporting, or Financial Economic Crime.
