What you will do

• Develop data-driven insights on consumer spending, household income, savings, confidence, and macroeconomic developments.
• Analyse proprietary data and translate findings into economic research.
• Write economic research independently and manage research processes.
• Lead projects from defining research questions through publication and presentation.
• Translate economic developments into relevant insights for clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
• Create presentations for specialist and non-specialist audiences while coordinating content and delivery with colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience in economic research or a related analytical field.
• An MSc in Economics or a comparable discipline.
• Quantitative and programming skills, or willingness to develop them further.
• Knowledge of macroeconomics and an interest in household and consumer behaviour.
• Experience with large datasets and responsible data use.
• Fluency in Dutch and professional English language skills.
