Middle/Senior Java Developer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services and internal frameworks.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical solution design.
• Build and support customer-facing services focused on reliability, availability, security, and performance.
• Investigate complex production issues involving concurrency and distributed systems.
• Work with authentication, authorization, caching, data storage, service integrations, and CI/CD processes.
• Own features and technical solutions from concept through deployment, support, documentation, and release.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial Java backend development experience.
• Expert-level Java and distributed systems experience, including Java Memory Model, garbage collection, concurrency, multithreading, consistency, partitioning, reliability, and failure handling.
• Experience building and scaling customer-facing backend services and debugging production issues in high-load environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cassandra, Redis, Memcached, or similar caching and data-storage technologies, plus REST services using Netty or similar frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cryptography standards and protocols such as PKCS, KMIP, X.509, AES, KDF, and CA.
• Experience with security- and privacy-sensitive systems or machine learning systems and algorithms.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, or similar tools.
