Assistant Fire Consultant (Graduate)

What you will do

• Assist with fire safety strategies and technical reports for new and existing buildings in line with UK regulations and international codes.
• Carry out fire engineering calculations covering means of escape, smoke control, and structural fire protection.
• Support the use of CFD and evacuation modelling software.
• Contribute to fire risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, building control bodies, and multidisciplinary internal teams.
• Monitor changes in fire safety legislation and participate in knowledge-sharing and graduate development programmes.

Requirements

• Degree completed or in progress in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related STEM discipline.
• Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• Commitment to customer service excellence and strong commercial outcomes.
