What you will do

• Conduct site-based investigations to record evidence for litigation cases.
• Review technical documentation, including manuals and maintenance records.
• Consult fire safety standards, building regulations, and published guidance.
• Prepare detailed technical expert witness reports for court proceedings.
• Provide preliminary advice to clients and judges in an accessible, non-technical format.
• Deliver expert witness testimony in court following necessary training and experience.

Requirements

• Degree in Fire Engineering or a relevant technical area.
• Established professional background in Fire Safety Engineering.
• Experience in building construction design for residential and commercial buildings.
• Deep knowledge of relevant fire safety design codes and building regulations.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Must be based in the UK or Ireland.
