SAP BTP Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite and SAP CPI/Cloud Integration.
• Build cloud-based integrations between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP enterprise applications, including SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Ariba, and Fiori.
• Develop API-led, file-based, and message-based solutions using APIs, ALE/IDocs, XML, OData, SOAP, and REST.
• Create custom integration solutions with Groovy, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
• Prepare technical design documents and participate in peer reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, implement error handling, support monitoring and production stability, and collaborate with architects, analysts, vendors, and distributed development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on SAP integration development experience.
• Strong experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP CPI/Cloud Integration, PIPO, ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, OData Services, XML, flat-file interfaces, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Experience with API architecture, integration patterns, OAuth, SSL, certificates, API authentication, retry mechanisms, exception subprocesses, monitoring, and production support.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Cloud, Git, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Jira.
• Must be authorized to work remotely from the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP cloud applications such as SuccessFactors, Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, and Ariba.
• Exposure to SAP ABAP, Eclipse, CDS Views, Fiori, Web Dynpro, UI5, HTML5, and NetWeaver Web Services.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe delivery environments.
