Reliability Engineer Tarragona (f/m/d)

Location: Madrid, with on-site support and customer-facility work in Tarragona, Spain

Salary: Minimum €40,000 per year

What you will do

• Implement and continuously improve the Reliability Action Plan for mechanical seals at customer facilities.
• Provide on-site assessment, diagnosis, and installation support for mechanical seals.
• Execute and monitor scheduled equipment inspection routes within the plant.
• Conduct root cause analyses of recurring failures to improve MTBR.
• Monitor critical equipment and develop corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Maintain contract and management-system documentation and prepare structured inspection and condition reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with pumps, mechanical seals, and instrumentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in failure analysis.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial environments or maintenance operations.
