TL;DR
Data Product Manager (Data/BI): Owning and rationalizing a legacy reporting inventory while building a governed Finance reporting product on a curated data platform with an accent on backlog prioritization, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder alignment. Focus on resolving requirements ambiguity, coordinating semantic-model and reporting-enablement workstreams, and driving delivery through fixed program gates.

What you will do
- Own and rationalize a large legacy report and capability inventory, deciding what to carry forward, rebuild, re-point, or retire.
- Groom and prioritize the backlog across replication, curated-layer, semantic-model, and reporting-enablement workstreams.
- Define and validate acceptance criteria with Finance and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate design validation, gather report and table requirements, resolve ambiguity, and lock scope.
- Coordinate with architecture, security and privacy governance, and data development leads.
- Track delivery gates covering design validation, build, and cutover readiness.
Requirements
- Experience as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst on data, BI, or reporting programs with end-to-end backlog ownership.
- Experience rationalizing a large legacy report inventory into a governed reporting product.
- Experience working directly with Finance or other business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and resolve ambiguity.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, including driving decisions within fixed delivery deadlines.
- Working knowledge of source-to-curated data flows, semantic layers, and BI tooling.
- Fluent English at C1 level required for daily collaboration with US-based Finance and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial or GL reporting, including charts of accounts, dimensions, and close processes.
- Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services reporting.
- Familiarity with Power BI or another enterprise BI semantic layer from a product or requirements perspective.
