Commercial Renewals Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Manage and renew a portfolio of customer contracts across the APJ region.
• Build customer relationships, understand business needs, and support timely renewals.
• Develop renewal strategies, negotiate contract terms, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Analyze renewal data, identify risks and opportunities, and forecast short- and long-term renewals.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, legal, and local and global teams to resolve issues and improve renewal processes.
• Position Okta products, services, and support offerings for executives and procurement stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in renewals, customer success, sales, account management, or a comparable customer-facing role.
• Experience negotiating complex license agreements and working with customers across APJ, including Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Korea.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent renewals, quarter-end workload spikes, deadlines, and CRM documentation.
• Ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, handle objections, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Flexibility to occasionally attend global meetings, training, and kickoffs outside local office hours.
