Senior Java Developer (Fintech)

Location: Lithuania; fully remote

Rate: Negotiated according to seniority and client budget

IT staff augmentation provider building engineering teams for product companies and IT consultancies across Europe and the US.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support microservices and event-driven solutions.
• Implement messaging and data streaming solutions with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Contribute to data integration, CDC, ETL/ELT, and Data Warehouse initiatives.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, DevOps, and business teams.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging and streaming technologies.
• Experience with data streaming and/or Data Warehouse projects.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
• Fluent English and availability for a fully remote role based in Lithuania.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, or financial systems.
