Supply Chain: Supplier Onboarding Lead (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office; US salary ranges are specified for California and Texas.

Salary: USD 135,500–275,000 annual base salary in California; USD 119,500–275,000 annual base salary in Texas.

What you will do

• Lead the onboarding of manufacturing suppliers and trading partners to HPE’s global supply chain network.
• Gather requirements and coordinate with Supply Chain Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, Business Development, suppliers, and partners.
• Set up and manage B2B integrations using EDI, XML, APIs, web services, and enterprise middleware.
• Align integrations with SAP S/4HANA supply chain and logistics processes, including purchase orders, shipping notices, invoices, inventory transactions, and master data.
• Deploy agentic AI workflows for supplier assessment, data validation, compliance verification, issue resolution, and process improvement.
• Monitor onboarding progress, resolve integration issues, maintain documentation, and report metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, procurement, or high-tech manufacturing, with experience working with contract manufacturers.
• 3–5 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, including supply chain modules such as MM, SD, and LE.
• At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise B2B integration solutions.
• Expertise in EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, XML-based protocols, APIs, middleware, integration testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebMethods, Seeburger, SAP PI/PO, or similar integration platforms.
• Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, and agent orchestration.
• Experience with global trade regulations, tariffs, customs compliance, data governance, and cybersecurity requirements for B2B transactions.
