Product Manager Infrastructure (IoT)

Location: Fernitz bei Graz, Austria. Flexible hybrid work schedule with home office options; willingness to travel up to 20%.

Salary: Minimum EUR 3,954.00 gross per month for full-time employment, with flexibility depending on qualifications.

What you will do

• Own and drive the technical product management of IoT infrastructure and related components.
• Manage infrastructure evolution across hardware, connectivity, wireless communication, and software platforms.
• Translate business, customer, and operational needs into technical requirements and product priorities.
• Coordinate with Product Management, R&D, System Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Sales.
• Drive infrastructure topics from concept definition through development, validation, product launch, and lifecycle management.
• Support complex technical discussions and ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable.

Requirements

• University degree or Higher Technical College qualification in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical Product Management, System Engineering, Solution Engineering, IoT, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or a comparable technical role.
• Experience with IoT or connected-device architectures and direct collaboration with software and/or hardware development teams.
• Good knowledge of IoT technologies and networking, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, LoRa, APIs, system integrations, device provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Strong technical communication, project coordination, data analysis, and customer-focused collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with radio frequency analysis.
• Experience participating in technical customer or Sales discussions.
