Product Manager (Hardware)

Location: Vienna, Austria (hybrid), with two home-office days per week

Salary: Minimum gross annual salary of €65,650, with the final package based on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and full lifecycle of the hardware portfolio from concept and business case through launch, optimization, and phase-out.
• Identify new technologies and device categories, drive innovation, and develop opportunities for new revenue streams.
• Conduct customer and partner discovery, visit users, attend trade fairs, and translate market needs into product requirements and priorities.
• Balance customer value, cost, manufacturability, certification, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility when prioritizing initiatives.
• Align hardware and software product experiences while collaborating with Hardware Engineering, Software Development, Product Management, and commercial stakeholders.
• Coordinate product roll-outs with Sales, Marketing, and Support, including pricing, portfolio performance, revenue, margin, and adoption.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of product management experience with physical products, ideally in Medtech, Healthtech, voice productivity solutions, or dictation hardware.
• Strong startup or scale-up experience and the ability to build products from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
• Technical understanding of hardware or the ability to quickly learn enough to communicate effectively with hardware developers.
• Analytical, structured, proactive, and user-centric approach with proven experience in product discovery and innovation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate complex user needs into clear product decisions.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

• Experience with dictation hardware.
