Project (Construction) Director - Denmark

What you will do

• Lead all site construction activities for a major pharmaceutical project from mobilisation through commissioning support and handover.
• Own project performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and compliance.
• Manage relationships with the client, general contractor, vendors, hirify.global teams, and other stakeholders.
• Lead construction meetings, reporting, risk management, contractor performance, and escalation of delivery issues.
• Oversee construction governance, EHS, QA/QC, constructability, contracts, commercial management, and project controls.
• Coordinate with Engineering, CQV, Quality, and Validation teams to support commissioning, qualification, and handover.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industrial construction projects.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary construction teams on complex capital projects.
• Strong EHS leadership and experience managing general contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Understanding of construction contracts, commercial management, and project controls.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Danish or another Nordic language.
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments.
