Embedded Junior GSOC Intelligence Analyst

Location: Fully onsite at the client's Toronto office, Canada. The role works five 8-hour rotating shifts, including early, late, night, and weekend coverage for a 24/7 GSOC. Travel of up to 5% may be required.

What you will do

• Continuously monitor incidents, alerts, security systems, and emerging threats.
• Perform initial event triage, verification, classification, escalation, and real-time incident logging.
• Conduct horizon scanning, OSINT collection, and SOCMINT analysis to identify early warning indicators.
• Produce intelligence reports, briefings, threat assessments, and impact analyses for decision-making.
• Coordinate incident response and communications with relevant stakeholders according to SOPs and response playbooks.
• Monitor physical security operations, including CCTV feeds, access control, and door alarms.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a corporate, public-sector, or private-sector environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of or interest in current affairs, international relations, and emerging security threats.
• Ability to analyse large volumes of information, summarise events accurately, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while following GSOC SOPs and escalation protocols.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts covering 24/7 operations, including weekends.

Nice to have

• Experience with GSOC, threat-monitoring, OSINT, or SOCMINT platforms and tools.
• Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in international security, intelligence, risk, geopolitics, or a related discipline.
