Assistant Fire Engineer (Graduate)

What you will do

• Support the development of fire safety strategies and technical reports for new and existing buildings.
• Carry out fire engineering calculations covering means of escape, smoke control, and structural fire protection.
• Use computational tools including CFD and evacuation modelling software.
• Contribute to fire risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, external clients, architects, and building control bodies.
• Monitor changes in fire safety legislation and technical standards and participate in knowledge-sharing and graduate development programmes.

Requirements

• Degree, or degree in progress, in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related STEM discipline.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop a professional career in fire engineering.
• Positive, proactive, client-focused approach and commitment to customer service excellence.
• Collaborative team-player mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.
