Integrated Operational Risk & Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) (Enablon)

What you will do

• Partner with Product Management and Engineering throughout product discovery, design, development, validation, and release.
• Participate in customer workshops, interviews, design-partner engagements, and validation activities.
• Define and validate operational risk models, decision frameworks, evidence requirements, business rules, and process models.
• Provide expertise in operational risk, process safety, control management, and operational execution.
• Challenge proposed capabilities and translate operational challenges into scalable product requirements and documentation.
• Identify emerging market needs, regulatory trends, and industry challenges that may influence product direction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operational, risk, process safety, or operations management.
• Deep experience in high-hazard or operationally complex industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Mining, Energy, or Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Operational Risk Management, Process Safety Management, Control of Work, and Permit to Work.
• Knowledge of SIMOPS, Barrier Management, critical controls, risk registers, and risk-based operational decision-making.
• Ability to translate operational practices into structured business requirements and product capabilities.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to maintenance, reliability, asset integrity, or work management processes.
• Experience implementing or using enterprise software for operational risk, process safety, control management, or operational excellence.
• Experience bridging operational expertise with technology and product development teams.
