What you will do
- Design, deploy, and maintain high-performance PostgreSQL database environments.
- Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize database configurations.
- Implement database security practices and protect data integrity.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/pgSQL solutions.
- Manage database backup and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database solution design and implementation.
Requirements
- US citizenship required.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PostgreSQL database administrator or SME.
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, including configuration, tuning, and monitoring.
- Security+ or equivalent certification, SQL and PL/pgSQL proficiency, and strong analytical and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- PostgreSQL Certified Professional or another relevant certification.
