Technical Project Manager (Security)

Location: Onsite in Kraków, Poland

What you will do

• Own and maintain the SOC security roadmap, backlog, project delivery cadence, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.
• Coordinate security operations with security engineering, detection engineering, IT, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders.
• Manage phishing triage, SIEM monitoring, incident-response rotations, shift handovers, PTO coverage, and other monitoring schedules.
• Track SOC maturity, operational KPIs, detection coverage, incident metrics, tabletop exercises, purple team findings, and remediation actions.
• Maintain incident-response playbooks, runbooks, SOPs, and decision records, and facilitate blameless post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate security-tool vendors, procurement timelines, renewals, proofs of concept, onboarding, and change requests.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing technical projects or programs, preferably in security, infrastructure, or IT operations.
• End-to-end ownership of backlogs and roadmaps, including prioritization, dependencies, and delivery against dated commitments.
• Working knowledge of security operations, including detection, alert triage, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Power-user fluency in Jira and Confluence, or the ability to reach that level quickly.
• Experience coordinating coverage schedules or on-call rotations, including absence planning and shift handovers.
• Strong written English and the ability to create documentation that people can follow and maintain.

Nice to have

• Experience with NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, or another security maturity or coverage framework.
• Experience facilitating post-incident reviews, tabletop exercises, or purple team engagements.
• Experience selecting or implementing an IT service management platform.
• Familiarity with production change management, vendor management, or procurement coordination.
