Lead AML Product Specialist (AI & Automation)

What you will do

• Own and prioritize product and process improvement initiatives across AML operations.
• Review and redesign workflows for transaction monitoring, investigations, KYC/EDD, STR/SAR preparation, sanctions screening, and case management.
• Translate AML and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements for Engineering, Data, and AI teams.
• Develop scalable solutions that reduce repetitive manual work and improve the quality and consistency of AML reviews.
• Embed AI-enabled tools into AML workflows while ensuring adoption, human review, escalation, and auditability.
• Measure productivity, turnaround time, false-positive reduction, investigation quality, and control effectiveness.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in AML, financial crime, compliance technology, product management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AML operations, including transaction monitoring, investigations, KYC/KYB/EDD, and suspicious transaction reporting.
• Experience improving or implementing AML systems, workflows, or operational processes.
• Experience with AI, automation, or data-driven solutions.
• Strong product management, analytical, problem-solving, and technology skills.
• Ability to translate AML operational needs into practical technology solutions.
