HVAC & Refrigeration Systems Technician

Location: Jerusalem, Israel; on-site presence required 5 days per week

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve HVAC and refrigeration systems across company facilities.
• Perform hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, testing, fault diagnosis, and daily technical activities.
• Support chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, fans, pumps, valves, chilled-water systems, VRF/VRV systems, compressors, and related controls.
• Maintain commercial refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms, and commercial kitchen systems.
• Monitor systems through BMS and control systems, investigate alarms and abnormal performance, and drive issues through resolution.
• Identify recurring failure root causes, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, and document work orders and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC and/or refrigeration systems in commercial, industrial, high-tech, or other complex facilities.
• Practical experience with chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, fans, pumps, chilled-water systems, and associated controls.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration systems, compressors, refrigerators, freezers, and cold-room equipment.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose faults independently in the field.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Experience working with HVAC/refrigeration contractors and service providers.

Nice to have

• Experience with BMS/control systems, including alarms, setpoints, temperatures, trends, and equipment status.
• Relevant HVAC/refrigeration technical certification or professional training.
