Staff Product Designer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and execute design strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs.
• Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery and research through wireframing, prototyping, and final UI execution.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and A/B experiments to validate design decisions.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable mobile and web experiences.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to the evolving design system, including accessibility, micro-interactions, and motion.
• Mentor junior designers and use qualitative and quantitative insights to improve user experience and business impact.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a senior product design role leading impactful projects.
• Expertise in visual design, interaction design, information architecture, user flows, typography, grids, layout, and colour theory.
• Deep experience designing responsive mobile and web products and conducting user interviews and usability testing.
• Proficiency with Figma, including auto layout, design tokens, component variants, interactive prototypes, and scalable design libraries.
• Knowledge of UX analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar, plus atomic design and scalable UI frameworks.
• Experience in fintech and/or SaaS, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to work in agile product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with motion design tools such as Lottie, After Effects, or Principle.
• Portfolio case studies demonstrating measurable improvements in user experience, business metrics, or engagement.
