Backend Engineer (Golang)

What you will do

• Contribute to Shop-domain engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Build and run the gateway that provides access to the hirify.global platform.
• Use AI and agentic tools such as Claude Code throughout exploration, implementation, testing, and code review.
• Help shape the team's technical vision and participate in technology strategy discussions.
• Resolve incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, respond to customer-support requests, and share technical knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on backend engineering experience.
• Strong Golang experience with MySQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or similar agentic engineering workflows.
• Experience across coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, API development, and relational database design.
• Experience with GraphQL and/or RESTful APIs, Git, clean code, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills, analytical problem-solving ability, ownership, and collaborative working style.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment-processing solutions such as Stripe or Chargebee.
• Exposure to requirements analysis and system design.
