Technical Sales & Project Manager (Industrial IoT)

Location: Fernitz bei Graz, Austria; regular customer travel of up to 25%; home office and flexible working hours are available.

Salary: €3,954 gross per month minimum under the collective agreement, with a willingness to pay more depending on qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead international customer projects from requirements gathering and proof of concept through implementation and rollout.
• Coordinate communication between customers and technical and commercial teams.
• Translate customer challenges into viable IoT solutions and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Visit customers and prospects and support new applications and business opportunities.
• Develop the Industrial IoT product and solution portfolio based on market, customer, and competitive insights.
• Translate market requirements into product requirements, roadmap priorities, positioning, and technical product marketing.

Requirements

• Technical education in engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Industrial IoT, IoT, Industry 4.0, or comparable connected technology environments.
• Strong system-level understanding of IoT solutions combining hardware, displays, sensors, connectivity, infrastructure, and software.
• Experience in technical project management, preferably in customer-facing projects and complex B2B environments.
• Ability to translate customer challenges into technical requirements and implementable solutions.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

• Experience with hardware or electronic product development.
• Additional language skills.
