Traditional Chinese Linguistic Evaluator & Functional Tester (AI)

Location: On-site in Tokyo, Japan; Barcelona, Spain; or Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Remote and work-from-home arrangements are not available.

What you will do

• Evaluate pre-release AI model outputs in Traditional Chinese for accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.
• Fact-check model responses against source material and assess language-specific nuance.
• Test Traditional Chinese user journeys against the English experience on client-supplied smartphones and next-generation smart glasses.
• Check feature parity, non-Latin script handling, diacritics, right-to-left text, mixed-language input, and visual rendering.
• Document localization and display defects with reproduction steps, device and operating system, locale, build ID, and supporting evidence.
• Retest fixes and support additional linguistic projects as needed.

Requirements

• Native-level or fully bilingual Traditional Chinese, written and spoken, is required.
• English communication skills sufficient to explain issues clearly are required.
• Confidence using smartphones and laptops, including both iOS and Android.
• Strong attention to detail and objective judgment when assessing quality.
• Ability to work independently, follow detailed test scripts and guidelines, and communicate defects clearly.
• Ability to work on-site in a private, secure office area is required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation.
