Tagalog Linguistic Evaluator & Functional Tester (AI)

What you will do

• Evaluate pre-release AI model responses in Tagalog for accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, quality, and factual consistency.
• Test Tagalog product experiences against English across smartphones and next-generation smart glasses.
• Verify feature parity, complete user journeys, and assess handling of non-Latin scripts, diacritics, right-to-left text, and mixed-language input.
• Identify display defects and localization errors involving text, dates, numbers, currencies, units, and untranslated strings.
• Document reproducible issues with steps, device and operating system details, locale, build ID, and evidence, then re-test fixes.
• Support other linguistic projects as needed.

Requirements

• Native-level or fully bilingual Tagalog, written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to explain issues clearly in English; English proficiency is required.
• Confidence using smartphones and laptops, including both iOS and Android.
• Strong attention to detail, objective judgement, independence, and ability to follow detailed test scripts and guidelines.
• Previous software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation experience is advantageous but not essential.
• On-site attendance in Tokyo, Barcelona, or Cluj-Napoca is required; remote work is not available.
