Bengali Linguistic Evaluator & Functional Tester (AI)

Location: On-site in Barcelona, Spain; Cluj-Napoca, Romania; or Tokyo, Japan. Remote and work-from-home arrangements are not available.

What you will do

• Evaluate pre-release AI model responses in Bengali for accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and factual consistency.
• Test Bengali product experiences against English for feature parity and complete user journeys with non-English input.
• Check handling of non-Latin scripts, diacritics, mixed-language input, and localized dates, numbers, currencies, units, and strings.
• Identify display and localization defects on client-supplied smartphones and next-generation smart glasses.
• Document reproducible issues with test steps, device and operating system, locale, build ID, and supporting evidence.
• Re-test fixes and provide native-speaker feedback on navigation, usability, and language-specific nuance.

Requirements

• Native-level or fully bilingual Bengali, written and spoken, with current everyday and technical language knowledge.
• Ability to explain issues clearly in English.
• Confidence using smartphones and laptops, including both iOS and Android.
• Strong attention to detail and objective judgement when assessing quality.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed test scripts and guidelines.
• Previous software testing, app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation experience is beneficial but not required.
