Operations Program Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote in Xiamen, China, with regular on-site presence at contract manufacturing locations and travel as required.

What you will do

• Lead operational readiness for new product introductions, product transfers, capacity expansions, pilot runs, qualifications, and production ramp-ups.
• Coordinate daily operations with contract manufacturers across production schedules, materials, equipment readiness, capacity, and shipment commitments.
• Develop capacity plans, validate supplier capabilities, identify constraints, and align production loading with demand and inventory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional programs involving Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, and Commercial teams.
• Manage operational risks, drive issue resolution, and communicate project status, recovery plans, and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Improve supplier performance through KPI management, operating reviews, continuous improvement, and operational readiness assessments.

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Operations Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Contract Manufacturing Management.
• Experience leading NPI launches, manufacturing transfers, production ramp-ups, or complex supply chain programs.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, capacity management, material planning, and contract manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs across multiple organizations and geographies, with strong project, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to maintain regular on-site presence at contract manufacturing locations and travel as required.
