Building and Construction Project Management Placement (12.5 months)

hirify.global develops aircraft and operates a manufacturing and facilities organization supporting commercial and defence aerospace operations.

What you will do

• Lead strategic building and construction projects from concept and feasibility studies through detailed design, construction, and final handover.
• Define project scope with clients and business stakeholders and coordinate multifunctional project teams.
• Work with architects and design teams on concepts, feasibility studies, building services, plant replacement, and refurbishment projects.
• Develop delivery plans, identify and manage risks and opportunities, and oversee capital investment business cases.
• Monitor budgets, financial reporting, construction progress, technical compliance, and health and safety on site.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and specifications while supporting the digitalisation of project management tools and processes.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate for the full 12.5-month placement duration.
• Studying engineering, construction, project management, building surveying, or an equivalent subject.
• Basic project management skills and willingness to learn hirify.global tools and processes.
• Strong IT skills, including Google Suite, with CAD awareness.
• Good stakeholder management, communication, customer focus, attention to detail, and ability to deliver on commitments.
• Subject to BPSS screening; UK SC-level security clearance or export control approval may also be required depending on the role.
