Single Aisle Wing Value Stream Management Placement (12.5 months) (Aerospace)

Location: Broughton, North Wales, UK; 12.5-month placement starting 16 August 2027.

Salary: £24,246.

hirify.global develops aerospace products and coordinates the end-to-end industrial flow of Single Aisle aircraft wings for global final assembly lines.

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, business, and international assembly-line teams.
• Support technical improvements related to aircraft wing design, assembly processes, and engineering specifications.
• Contribute to projects that improve production capacity, product quality, and manufacturing flow efficiency.
• Help apply digital tools to improve industrial processes and support project initiatives.
• Investigate operational issues with internal teams and suppliers, identify root causes, and contribute to solutions.
• Build practical experience in project management, presentations, and project budget management.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate for the entire duration of the placement.
• Studying engineering, aerospace, mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering, business management, operations management, supply chain, logistics, computer science, or a related subject.
• Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace and willing to learn new digital tools.
• Strong collaboration, analytical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Subject to BPSS screening; UK SC-level security clearance or export control approval may also be required depending on the role.
