Senior iOS Engineer (Swift/SwiftUI)

Location: Austin, Texas, USA; the role requires some travel.

hirify.global is building OleOle, a global football-focused social, messaging, video, commerce, payments, and content platform.

What you will do

• Architect and build the native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Develop high-performance social feeds, microblogging, short-form vertical video, and media capture, upload, playback, and processing.
• Implement encrypted one-to-one messaging, realtime chat, voice and video calling, contacts, invitations, and user discovery.
• Integrate live scores, realtime match events, push notifications, authentication, secure sessions, wallets, payments, rewards, localization, and translation.
• Optimize startup time, scrolling, networking, caching, media playback, battery usage, and behavior on intermittent networks.
• Own testing, debugging, production reliability, and releases from architecture through App Store production deployment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial native iOS development.
• Expert-level Swift and strong production experience with SwiftUI.
• Experience architecting and shipping complex consumer iOS applications involving social feeds, messaging, short-form video, live content, or realtime communications.
• Strong experience with WebSockets, WebRTC or comparable calling technology, AVFoundation, Swift concurrency, networking, caching, memory management, and mobile performance optimization.
• Production experience with APNs, background processing, authentication, Keychain or secure storage, session management, privacy-sensitive functionality, and App Store releases.
• Hands-on engineering experience is required; the role is not primarily an engineering management position.
