is partnering with a global investment organisation that is modernising enterprise data and analytics capabilities in a complex, regulated environment.
What you will do
- Establish a business-aligned view of data demand and prioritise valuable, well-defined data products.
- Map data flows and dependencies across Snowflake, operational systems, BI and integration tooling, SharePoint, Excel, and locally managed datasets.
- Define ownership, stewardship, authority models, key business entities, and systems of record.
- Design a pragmatic data-access model aligned with Microsoft Entra, group- and attribute-based access, auditability, and least privilege.
- Create and guide a sequenced roadmap for data products, governance, access, and platform evolution.
- Advise senior stakeholders, facilitate decision-making, and quality-assure delivery.
Requirements
- Significant senior experience in data architecture or enterprise architecture within complex organisations, preferably in financially sensitive or regulated environments.
- Experience translating business outcomes and decision-making needs into architecture priorities and delivery roadmaps.
- Strong knowledge of data products, domains, business entities, systems of record, ownership models, and data governance.
- Hands-on experience mapping data landscapes and flows across cloud data platforms, operational applications, BI tools, integrations, and third-party feeds.
- Practical knowledge of Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms, including ingestion, transformation, consumption, security, and governance.
- Experience designing enterprise access models using Microsoft Entra, RBAC, and group- or attribute-driven controls.
