Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Architect (Azure)

What you will do

• Assess existing datacenter infrastructure, technology landscapes, dependencies, and operating models.
• Design target architectures covering compute, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and automation.
• Evaluate on-premises, hybrid-cloud, public-cloud, and externally managed infrastructure models.
• Compare vendors and technology platforms using objective technical criteria, including lifecycle, resilience, compatibility, and long-term suitability.
• Define migration scenarios and a high-level roadmap covering dependencies, risks, feasibility, and modernization requirements.
• Present architecture recommendations and decision materials to senior stakeholders, including inputs on licensing, sizing, support, migration effort, and total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, systems, or enterprise architecture, including complex transformation projects.
• End-to-end datacenter architecture expertise across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
• Advanced Microsoft Azure architecture experience, including landing zones, networking, security, storage, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Experience with on-premises, hybrid-cloud, and public-cloud environments, as well as large-scale datacenter or cloud migrations.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, Infrastructure as Code, FinOps, DevSecOps, and operational governance.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
