Retail Software Implementation & Delivery Manager (Retail)

Location: Mexico, home-based with frequent domestic and international travel; approximately 50% of the time at customer sites

What you will do

• Own retail software implementations from discovery and kickoff through configuration, testing, training, go-live, stabilization, and adoption.
• Build and manage project plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, owners, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify risks, remove blockers, manage scope changes, escalate issues, and create recovery plans.
• Lead customer and internal meetings, track actions and decisions, and communicate progress and next steps.
• Translate planning, merchandising, allocation, replenishment, and inventory processes into functional requirements and business rules.
• Coordinate data mapping, migration, integrations, validation, user acceptance testing, training, customer sign-off, and handover to Customer Success and Support.

Requirements

• Proven experience personally managing complex retail software implementations through go-live, including plans, timelines, dependencies, issue resolution, and customer acceptance.
• Deep fashion and apparel retail expertise in merchandise planning, allocation, replenishment, inventory management, or retail technology delivery.
• Knowledge of retail planning and inventory platforms and their connections with merchandising, ERP, and other retail systems.
• Understanding of assortment planning, allocation, replenishment, inventory management, seasonality, size and color, markdowns, and inventory productivity.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, facilitation, and customer-facing skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience combining in-house retail planning or merchandising with implementation delivery at a retail technology provider or consulting firm.
• Experience with omnichannel or multi-brand fashion retail operations.
• Familiarity with merchandise financial planning, open-to-buy, and demand forecasting.
• Experience with international customers and distributed project teams.
