Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend services with NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript, and/or Python.
• Own API design, service contracts, versioning, authentication, authorization, and secure integrations.
• Design data models and database schemas, optimize queries, and implement caching and asynchronous processing with queues, jobs, and events.
• Lead backend architecture, code quality, testing, observability, scalability, fault tolerance, CI/CD, and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on React and TypeScript applications, data shapes, performance, and user experience constraints.
• Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to improve development workflows and engineering productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack or backend engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS; Python or an equivalent backend framework is also relevant.
• Solid experience with React, HTML, CSS, scalable backend architecture, data modeling, and API design.
• Understanding of authentication flows, distributed-system trade-offs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and query optimization.
• Experience with performance, reliability, security, testing methodologies, and observability tooling.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools, prompt engineering, and validating and improving AI-generated code.

Nice to have

• Experience with data platforms, analytics products, or BI tools.
• Experience with large-scale data processing, streaming or real-time data patterns, query optimization, or LLM API integrations.
