Teamleader – R&D Samples Department

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop coordinators and technicians while establishing clear roles, priorities and ways of working.
• Manage the full sample flow, including request analysis, preparation, repacking, stock management, shipment coordination and follow-up.
• Handle complex sample requests and service escalations, ensuring timely decisions and transparent communication.
• Build partnerships with R&D, business units, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Marketing, Quality, IT, Warehousing and affiliates.
• Review and improve processes, service standards, quality, efficiency, scalability and operational continuity.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives and monitor KPIs and service levels using tools such as SAP S/4, Power BI, webshop solutions and OutSystems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Relevant background in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, customer service, operations or a related field.
• Strong people management, decision-making, prioritization and process improvement skills.
• Customer- and stakeholder-focused approach with strong communication abilities.
• Affinity with digital tools and systems; SAP knowledge is important.
• Fluent English and French are required.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills.
• Experience with Power BI, webshop solutions or similar digital platforms.
